Parvez Mehta Draws
The weekly fixture must be finished by the Sunday of that week.
However if due to inclement weather the same gets postponed it must be concluded by end of day Wednesday of the following week. If the two opponents fail to decide upon a mutually agreed tee time, then they must tee off at 06:30 hrs Wednesday.

Handicaps roll out based on new course ratings
The Beldih and Golmuri Courses have been rated recently by IGU. After review, it has been decided to roll out the handicaps of all golfers based on the new ratings.
As the two courses are now rated to be easier than earlier, in order to be fair to everyone, it has been decided to run the first handicaps on the new ratings without the additional hard cap restriction of 0.8 on the Handicap Index. For subsequent months, this hard cap shall be in force. Please note that the handicap calculation shall be based on best 8 out of last 20 scorecards.
The roll out of new handicaps shall happen by 15th Aug 2024, before the commencement of Parvez Mehta trophy.

Gentlemen Medal Round cum Qualifier for Parvez Mehta Trophy 2024

| Entries | Only via online registration before Thursday 8th Aug, 11 AM. While registering, please specify your date of play and also check against Confirmation checkbox to specify if you are playing Parvez Mehta Qualifier. |
| Draw | No draw shall be made. On 8th morning, list of players registered for Sat & Sun shall be released. Players to make their own 3/4 ball, book their preferred tee time, and play. Each playing group should consist only of players registered for the date being played. Anyone not participating in the medal round should not be part of any 3/4 ball. Timing booked should be such that it allows you to complete 18 holes despite rain delays etc. Entire round must be completed positively by Sunday 11th Aug. Nil points will be awarded for holes not completed. |

Beldih course will be available for non-participating golfers as well on the tournament dates. Hence, please plan in advance and book your tee time well in time to get your choice slot.
Important: A NO SHOW or last minute cancellation jeopardizes the tournament fixture and inconveniences other players playing in the same group. Please register only after carefully reviewing your availability for the tournament.

Parvez Mehta Trophy 2024 for Gentlemen
The tournament will commence on the weekend 17/18 August 2024. A total of 128 players (including Byes) will be eligible to participate in the tournament. Last year’s winner qualifies automatically and will be seeded as #1. Top 112 scores in the Medal Round of 10/11 Aug will qualify and will be seeded #2 to #113 as per their medal round ranking. Balance 15 players may be added at the discretion of the Golf Captain to make a total field of 128 players for the knock-out draw. In case of lesser number of players resulting in inclusion of Byes, the first bye will go to the number 1 seeded player, second bye will go to number 2 seeded player, and so on.

Points to Note:
- Players are required to fix their matches on mutually agreed date and time and do the tee-booking for the same online. Two-ball booking will be allowed on the concerned weekends.
- In case the players are unable to agree on a date and time of their match, the match must be played at 10:30 AM on the last completion date for the round. The player not turning up will be deemed to have given a walk-over. If both players do not turn up, names of both players will be scratched from the Draw.
- Parvez Mehta 2-ball will get precedence over other golfers playing on the course on that day.
- For any ruling issue, players may contact Mr. Digvijay Singh, whose ruling decision shall be treated as final.
- The winner of Parvez Mehta 2024 automatically qualifies for Parvez Mehta Trophy 2025 competition and will be seeded No. 1 as a Defending Champion.
- The tournament committee reserves the rights to change the above match schedule, if so required.

Parvez Mehta Trophy 2024 for Ladies
The tournament will commence on the weekend 17/18 August 2024. Depending upon the number of registrations, a total of 16/32 players (including Byes) will be eligible to participate in the tournament. Last year’s winner will be seeded as #1. Ranking of balance players shall be done via a draw taken out from a hat and acordingly they will be seeded #2 to #16/#32. In case of lesser number of players resulting in inclusion of Byes, the first bye will go to the number 1 seeded player, second bye will go to number 2 seeded player, and so on.

New Guidelines on Scorecard submission
Off late, a lot of discrepancies have been observed in on-line filling of score cards by some of the golfers.
In view of the above, the following guidelines need to be followed:
- Minimum number of players required for filling a score card is 3. Below that the card would not be accepted.
- No electronic filling is accepted & a hard copy of score card duly signed and submitted is deemed to be final & accepted.
- A score card once submitted cannot be retrieved/requested-for to correct/change score/scores.
If the above is not followed disciplinary action may be initiated with temporary suspension of golf membership and / or slashing of handicap.
No letter of warning will be issued for the above breach.
The above is in force and one member has been suspended for the same.

Reciprocal arrangement with Golden Greens Golf Club, Gurgaon
We have a new reciprocal arrangement between Jamshedpur Golf and Golden Greens golf & country club, Gurgaon.
According to the arrangement, a member may use the Golf Club 5 times in a month and 20 times in a year. A prior booking is a must over the weekends.
The member is required to carry his/her membership card to be able to avail the facility.

Morning
06:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Last bucket of 50 balls will be issued at 9:30 AM.
Evening
3:00 PM - 6:15 PM
Last bucket of 50 balls will be issued at 5:45 PM.
On each course's weekly off day, Golfers can use the driving range with their own personal practice golf balls.
To ensure safety of golfers in adjoining fairways and prevent loss of range balls, hitting with a Driver is not permitted.
